Sharp yellow eyes glowed beneath the shade of a black hood. Equally sharp was the edge of the scythe pointed at the other, held upwards to keep them in place... But there was something in the man’s stance that was casual and unthreatening despite the sharp implement in his hands. He seemed very uninterested in fighting, instead using his scythe like someone would use a stick to indicate who they were talking to. It just so happened that his stick had a sharp, hooked blade at the end of it. So what? “You,” came the abnormally soft voice. “Have you any clue why someone would put a bounty upon your head?” Yes. Charon was a bounty hunter, but he was a bounty hunter with morals. Morals that may not always align with his employer’s demands to just “shoot first, ask questions later”. He needed to know why people wanted others dead. had they done something worthy of dying? Or was this just some petty little spat that he had no interest in being part of? Maybe the person hadn’t done anything at all, and the employer was just some limp dick loser who couldn’t do anything himself. That one had happened more than once. Plus, despite being pretty damned skilled at it, he liked to look people in the eye when he killed them. Seemed rude not to. {[ @thekavseklabs ]}
